In this new age of smart generators and portable power stations, EcoFlow has emerged as a front-runner in the realm of portable power technology. Their latest products, the EcoFlow DELTA Pro and the EcoFlow Delta 2, have brought a new level of convenience and efficiency to the world of power management. Today, we will explore these two remarkable units in detail and see how they fare against each other.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro is the world's first portable home battery with a power output of 3600W, reaching a peak of 7200W, setting the gold standard for portable power stations. This single Delta Pro unit sports a record-breaking 3.6-25 kWh capacity thanks to its brand-new LFP battery. The high kWH capacity makes it the perfect solution for running heavy-duty devices during power outage hits or for regular use.
With the Delta Pro's expandable ecosystem, you can add selection of extra batteries to increase the original capacity. The unit also features a unique protection mechanism which prevents the battery from discharging to a dangerously low level of charge, ensuring longer battery life and less energy loss.
While the EcoFlow Delta 2 doesn’t match the raw power of the Delta Pro, it's still an impressive device. It has a power output of 1800W, peaking at 2700W, and an energy storage capacity of 1kWh(Expandable with the DELTA 2 or DELTA Max Battery). This makes it suitable for running less power-intensive appliances and for use in situations where the power demand isn't as high.
With its enormous energy storage, the EcoFlow DELTA Pro becomes an ideal home backup during power outages. It can run a wide variety of home circuits and heavy-duty appliances such as refrigerators, AC units, and power tools for extended periods. For example, it can power a 120W refrigerator for 24 hours and a 10W light for 360 hours on a full charge(DELTA Pro Standalone no extra batteries).
The Delta 2, with its smaller capacity, can still provide power to important devices in an emergency. It can run a 10W light for 102.4 hours and a fully charge a laptop 16 times.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro is a complete power solution for off-grid environments and outdoor adventures. This portable generator can be powered by solar panels, offering a green energy source. The smart maximum power point (MPPT) controller ensures the highest efficiency when charging from solar energy. The Delta Pro also features an Anderson port for solar input, enhancing its versatility.
With the new EcoFlow smart home panel, you can control the Delta Pro remotely using the EcoFlow app. This is a huge plus for camping and off-grid use, where power
needs can change rapidly. The app gives you complete control over power settings, energy usage, and even lets you choose the time-of-use rates to lower energy bills.
Moreover, the EcoFlow DELTA Pro has a unique charging method called EcoFlow's X-Stream. It enables the unit to get a full charge from a standard AC wall outlet in record-breaking speeds, just about 1.8 hours. This means you can easily recharge your unit even when you're on RV road trips.
The Delta 2 is a more compact unit, making it a great companion for camping trips and outdoor adventures. While it doesn't have the same high power capacity as the Delta Pro, it still offers plenty of energy for most camping needs. It can also be charged with solar panels, making it a great option for sustainable off-grid power.
Like the Delta Pro, the Delta 2 can be controlled remotely through the EcoFlow app. You can monitor energy usage, control power settings, and even use it as an EV station for charging electric vehicles.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro has been designed as a smart generator with an eye on the future. It includes features like the EcoFlow Smart Generator, which serves as a traditional gas generator but with higher efficiency and lower noise.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro also has a firmware section, allowing for updates and improvements over time. This ensures that your unit will always stay up-to-date with the latest improvements in power technology.
One of the standout features of the Delta Pro is its ability to serve as a home backup and a portable power station simultaneously. This is achieved through the EcoFlow’s battery management system, which ensures uninterrupted power supply and secure power source at all times.
The double voltage hub allows 2 DELTA Pro units to be connected together and provide a massive 7200 watts continuous power output and get 7200wh battery capacity. Double Voltage, Double Power Output, and double capacity making it a highly versatile power source.
The Delta 2, while smaller, still packs a ton of customization and power security features. It comes with a wide voltage range, making it capable of powering a variety of appliances and tools. It also has a built-in inverter, which ensures a stable power supply, even during extreme blackouts.
The Delta 2 also includes the X-Boost technology, an innovative feature from EcoFlow that allows the unit to run high-power devices at up to 2200W. This makes the Delta 2 an excellent option for a variety of professional projects, even in off-grid conditions.
Both the EcoFlow DELTA Pro and the EcoFlow Delta 2 offer unique advantages. If you need a power station capable of running heavy-duty appliances for extended periods or want a secure power source for your home, the Delta Pro is the obvious choice. On the other hand, if you want a more portable and affordable solution for camping and light professional work, the Delta 2 is an excellent option.
With the added benefit of free shipping, EcoFlow's products make for a great investment in power security and efficiency. Remember, whether it's the first time you're investing in a portable power station or you're looking to
upgrade, consider your specific power needs, budget, and portability requirements.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro provides an AC output of 3600W, with a peak of 7200W. On the other hand, the Delta 2 offers an AC output of 1800W, reaching a peak of 2700W.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro can achieve a full charge in about 1.8 hours from a standard AC wall outlet using EcoFlow’s X-Stream technology. The Delta 2 takes approximately 50 minutes to charge from 0-80%, and 80 minutes to charge fully.
Yes, both EcoFlow DELTA Pro and Delta 2 can be used as an EV station, allowing you to charge electric vehicles during outdoor adventures or in an off-grid environment.
The main difference lies in their power outputs and battery capacity. The EcoFlow DELTA Pro is a more powerful unit with a larger battery capacity, making it perfect for heavy-duty appliances and for use as a home backup.
