How does Sun-Mark Composting Toilets Work?

The Sun-Mar operates by separating liquids from solids upon entry into the main composting chamber. Solids decompose and eventually move into the finishing drawer, while liquids are evaporated by a heating tray and an internal vent fan. As the liquids evaporate, the decomposed solids are transferred to the finishing drawer, ready for removal.

Sun-Mar Toilets Feature a three-chamber system for the best composting process. It consists of the Bio Drum, This is where wastes are initially stored and effectively mixed for optimal aeration and moisture distribution, the the Evaporation Chamber. This is where liquids are evaporated, enhancing the composting process. Lastly, the Finishing Drawer, where the compost is isolated, allows it to continue composting and drying out the waste.
