We've been using our Royal Berkey for over 5 years and LOVE IT. It removes the chlorine flavour of our city tap water and leaves it tasting clean and fresh.
Our kids are huge water drinkers and I give a lot of credit to Berkey for making them actually enjoy drinking water. It definitely gives us peace of mind that we're all drinking clean water free from contaminants and chemicals too.
I also just love how it looks in our house. It adds to the space rather than being an eye sore like those big water coolers can be.
Not to mention, it's super easy to clean, maintain and fill. We just keep ours in the same spot and use a jug to add water to it.

Do Berkey Water Filtration Systems remove kerosene?

Why Can't Berkey Water Filters Be Sold In California?
California's health regulations are arguably the strictest in the nation. In 2009, their no-lead law effectively put a stop to Berkey water filters. The law mandates that any device intended for human consumption through drinking or cooking must be NSF certified to be lead-free. Berkey's refusal to comply led to tighter restrictions. From a public health standpoint, the rule is logical. No one wants a water filter with lead, and neither should you. However, the law is restrictive and penalizes companies that wish to safeguard their proprietary technology. Berkey's decision to forgo NSF certification is rooted in their desire to keep their patented process away from prying competitors.
Do Berkey Filters remove PFAS?
