How Separett Toilets Work

Separett toilets are Urine Diverting Toilets. This means that solid and liquid wastes are separated and stored in two different areas or containers. The Separett toilets have a flap/cover to conceal the solid wastes stored. This cover opens when pressure is applied to the seat of the toilet. Solid Waste will be stored in the solid bin with compostable bags and Liquid Waste is either stored or diverted in a waste water system or drain pit depending on the model of your choice.
