Black Berkey® Purification Elements
***This Item is not able to ship to California or Iowa*** *The Black Berkey® Purification Elements are made and assembled in the USABlack Berkey® Purification Elements are more powerful than any other gravity filter element currently available. The Elements have a unique purification capability that is due to their unique structure. The micropores within the Black Berkey® Elements are so small that viruses and pathogenic bacteria are simply not able to pass through them.
Many water filters on the market may claim to be a water purifier, but do not meet the performance specifications required for this classification. In order to be classified as a water purifier, a water treatment device must remove at least 99.9999% of pathogenic bacteria and reduce viruses by 99.99%. The Black Berkey® Purification Elements can be classified as water purifiers because they remove 99.9999% of pathogenic bacteria and 99.999% of viruses, which greatly exceeds the standard. The Black Berkey®Purification Elements formulation has been tested by State and EPA accredited laboratories to exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 53.

Berkey Water Filter Extended Lifetime Warranty
Wild Oak Trail offers an exclusive Lifetime warranty for your Big Berkey Water Filter.
This covers your stainless steel chamber and lid, washers, nuts and spigot. This provides coverage over and above the general manufacturers warranty. For the first 6 months to 2 years depending on which product you purchase, the warranty will be handled via NMCL (makers of the Berkey). Once your initial warranty with Berkey ends, your Berkey container and parts excluding filters will be handled via Wild Oak Trail. This warranty is provided free of charge with your system purchase through www.WildOakTrail.com. Proof of purchase through Wild Oak Trail is required.
This guarantee will be void in circumstances of misuse. It doesn’t cover items that have been damaged due to user abuse, mistreatment, salt water or air, lack of maintenance, lack of routine cleanings, or accidents (dropping etc.).
The customer will be responsible for processing charges and shipping.
The Berkey Earth Ceramic Filters and Black Berkey purification elements have a two year pro-rated manufacturer’s warranty which is calculated in six month intervals. The filters and purification elements are not covered under lifetime warranty. For example, if you have used the filters for 8 months, 75% of the guarantee still applies so you can get a full replacement set for 25% off of the normal cost.
