Simple Assembly Guide
- Unpack & Prime: Take out all parts; use the included priming instructions to activate the Black Berkey pores.
- Preparation: Clean your hands before starting to avoid component contamination.
- Lid Assembly: Pass the screw up through the lid and attach the knob firmly by hand.
- Filter Installation: Fit the large sealing washer on the element stem. Slide it through the upper chamber base and lock it with a wing nut until snug.
- Spigot Setup: Place a washer on the spigot stem and insert through the lower tank. Secure with the interior washer and nut by hand.
- Final Step: Stack the upper tank on the lower unit and set the lid. The system is ready for its first fill.
Note: If installing PF-2 fluoride filters, they must be primed separately and attached directly to the Black Berkey stems inside the lower chamber.
Troubleshooting & Tips
Residual WaterIt is normal for about one inch of water to stay in the top tank, as there isn't enough gravity pressure left to push it through.
Filtration SpeedFlow is fastest when the top tank is full. If speed is extremely slow, re-priming elements can clear air and open pores.
Taste & TextureIf flavors are off after initial flushes, try a food coloring test. PF-2 users should ensure all manufacturing dust is flushed to prevent cloudiness.

Berkey Shipping Details
All Berkey Water Filter systems and accessories are processed and shipped directly from our trusted U.S. warehouse partners within 3 to 7 business days. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number so you can monitor your delivery status in real time.
Due to the stainless steel construction and component packaging of Berkey systems, some larger models or bundle packages may arrive in multiple shipments (for example, the system body may ship separately from filter elements or add-on accessories). If this happens, tracking information will be provided for each package.
Wild Oak Trail proudly offers FREE standard shipping within the continental United States on qualifying Berkey orders. Please note that shipping timelines may vary slightly during peak seasons, holidays, or due to carrier delays beyond our control.
Shipping Restrictions: Due to current manufacturer policies, Berkey products cannot be shipped to Iowa or California. Orders placed with shipping addresses in these states will be canceled and refunded. If you have questions regarding eligibility, please contact our support team before placing your order.
