Adventure Essentials

Planning your next adventure? Whether you're hiking the wilderness, going on a canoe trip or wanting to set up your off the grid home, you'll want to have the essentials covered. Here's what you'll need:

#1.) Water Filtration

Water is kind of a big deal. As you know, it's essential to your survival, so having a clean and drinkable water source is a must for you. We have a variety of Berkey sizes available to suit your needs. Our Go Berkey Kit is compact and portable, making it an easy solution.

#2.) Food Storage

Once you've got your water source covered, you'll need to plan food. Of course you can plan to fish and hunt your way along, but it's always a good idea to have a backup plan in case you run dry, get injured or would just prefer to plan ahead. Food storage is freeze dried food that is light weight, doesn't need to be refrigerated and won't go bad. Best of all, it's actually delicious too. You can find a ton of variety on our Survival Food & Emergency Food Supplies page.

#3.) Shelter

Protecting yourself from the elements will keep you comfortable and safe. Sure crashing in your sleeping bag under the stars sounds nice too, but weather and local wildlife don't always make that possible. So you can find some great pop up tents here, or for a more sturdy solution, here is an amazing tent that will make you feel at home.

#4.) Outdoor Power

If you're planning to be away from civilization for a while, you're going to want a power source that you can depend on. Having a Solar Powered Generator will be a must so you won't need to depend on the system to get you by. Here are a few sturdy, dependable solar powered generators that we stand by.
