How does it Work and How to Use the GL90 Composting Toilet

The GL 90 Composting Toilet works like your traditional toilet but without having the need to flush. That is because all waste falls directly into the Composting Container below. The Waste falls inside a dark container and ensures no visibility. The ventilation system then gets rid of the odor and enhances the composting process of your waste. With all of this together you get a fresh, clean, and odorless indoor toilet experience.

We highly recommend that after using the GL 90 Composting Toilet you add a cupful of covering material like hemp over the waste through the Toilet's opening. And to improve the composting process you can occasionally stir the compost and level it for a more efficient breakdown process. 

*Please do not throw sanitary towels and plastics inside your GL 90 Composting Toilet. These products are non-compostable and should be disposed of in a separate bin. 

How to Install the GL 90 Composting Toilet

There are two primary methods for installing and servicing the GL 90 composting toilet. Typically, the GL 90 composting container needs to be installed directly below the toilet pedestal inside. Depending on the clearance height below the floor level, the toilet can be installed and serviced in one of two ways:

Option 1:

The container, along with the lid and the waste shaft, is pulled out as a single unit.

Option 2:

The waste shaft and lid remain in place while only the container is removed.
Option 2 is generally more common and preferred for most installations.
