EcoFlow Delta 2 Overview

EcoFlow Delta 2 with solar panel in sand

The EcoFlow Delta 2 uses X-Boost technology that allows for up to 1800W of continuous AC output between its various USB ports, USB-C ports, and AC wall outlets. Its X-Stream tech also allows for a more efficient charge in under 2 hours, with up to 500W of AC input and a 1024 Wh capacity.

While this battery capacity isn't as high as other solar generators, you can combine it with another solar generator or an extra battery for more storage. The Delta 2 is compatible with other EcoFlow smart batteries for a higher emergency power supply. The LFP battery chemistry allows you to store a charge for several months, and it can last for up to 10 years of daily use.

Also, even limited solar input is better than none. On cloudy days, EcoFlow solar panels can still receive up to 50% of their capacity. With 500W of solar panels, that could still charge your system in 4 hours, keeping it running during an outage! If your output is less than 250W, you could run it indefinitely with that.

Without power, you won't have AC input, but you may increase your battery life with solar panels or wind turbines. Also, remember to double or triple these if you are using extra batteries, and add even more for a Delta Max extra battery, as these have twice the capacity of the Delta 2 per unit.

Appliance Average Wattage Time
Electric Stove 1000W ~1 hour
Refrigerator/Freezer 350 to 750W ~1.3 to 3 hours
Mini Refrigerator 50 to 100W 10 to 20 hours
Space Heater 500 to 1500 40 min to 2 hours
Coffee Maker 200 to 400W (1000W peak) 2 to 5 hours
Dishwasher 1200 to 1400W ~45 min

Monitor your energy consumption and input using the EcoFlow app or the display screen on the front of the unit. Always keep your Delta 2 at a full charge for extra backup power.

Also, if you want to keep it for home backup, consider using the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel for an uninterrupted power supply and a smart algorithm for energy management!
