by Hunter Kissam November 10, 2022 2 min read

If you have a Nature's power pod, there's a lot you can do to improve your experience with the system, including solar input, compounding with other batteries, and controlling it with your phone. Instead of scrolling through the long user manual, let's just get to the information you really need. Here's how to connect your Nature's Generator for expansion purposes or to get the most out of your system!

With Other Nature's Generators

Nature's Generator Elite

Nature's Generator can easily compound with other Nature's Generator power pods. The internal battery can connect to others using ordinary cables to expand the capacity of your portable generator. With 720Wh and a 100 ah sealed lead acid battery, you will effectively double your capacity with each one.

Also, if you need to add a Nature's Generator power pod to a Nature's Generator Elite, you will need to use a power transfer kit. However, this is doable and quite affordable if you already have both systems!

As a pro tip, take the wheeled cart off of either system and stack them on top of each other. The heavy-duty cart can hold more than one system at a time, making them much easier to transport!

With Other Batteries

Again, you will need the right conversion kit or fuse connector, but you can potentially compound the Nature's Generator with other batteries. We recommend using another lead-acid battery, but you may be able to connect it to others with the right kit.

With Solar Panels or Wind Turbines

Connecting your Nature's Generator with solar panels or a Nature's Generator wind turbine is easy as can be. All you have to do is position your panels or turbines in the optimal location and connect them to the portable power station with the MC4 cables that came with your system.

From there, the panels or turbines will generate electrical energy and the solar panel input can charge your system in 5 to 8 hours. Wind power will likely take longer, but it will still offer the clean charge you need.

To Bluetooth

Your Nature's Generator can connect to Bluetooth, allowing you to monitor and control it from your phone. Just press the pairing button on the front of the unit and pair it to your smart device. This way, you won't have to walk up to check the LED light fuel gauge all the time!

With Electronics

The pure sine wave inverter allows for up to 1800W of output wattage at a time. You'll find plenty of AC outlets and USB ports on the front panel, which you can use to connect with whatever electronics you want.

You won't have to worry about overloading the system because of the built-in charge controllers, but you still don't want to drain the battery too fast if you need it!
