The Best EcoFlow Delta Pro Accessories & How to Use Them

by Hunter Kissam February 22, 2022 2 min read

If you’ve bought the new EcoFlow Delta Pro, or if you’re considering it, there’s a lot you need to know about its impressive battery technology and energy efficiency.

However, the portable power station comes with more than just a battery. Let’s talk about how to get the most out of your new EcoFlow Delta Pro portable power station and its accessories!

Solar Panels

Of course, you can opt for just charging with a wall or EV charger, but solar panels are the best way to offset your carbon footprint and generatefreeelectricity for as long as you want.

Regardless of what you hear, more than 80% of Americans are willing to change their behaviors to fight climate change, and one of the easiest ways to do that is by using solar energy.

When you purchase the Delta Pro, some bundles come with up to six solar panels, totaling 1200W. Make sure you have the space for these wherever you will use them!

Charging Cables

The Delta Pro comes with multiple charging options, including AC, EV charging, and solar. You can even use a combination of these for faster charging.

If you have an EV charging system at home, then it’s simple! All you have to do is plug it into the input just like you would on your car and it will charge as quickly as 1.7 hours. Even if you don’t have an electric vehicle, you can always stop and use public EV charging stations while on the road, which are oftenfreeto use or only $0.06 to $0.11 per kWh.

For the AC charging, the cord will come with your system, regardless of the package you choose. Simply plug it into a wall outlet and it should charge in under 2.7 hours.

When using solar panels, whether your system is plugged into a wall or not, you will need both solar panels and MC4 to type C cables. Just ensure the panels are facing in the right direction and they should charge your system in 3 to 5 hours on an average day.

Expansion Batteries

If you’re using your system for off-grid living, home backup, or anything that requires a lot of energy, then it’s imperative you get at least one expansion battery. One extra battery will double your energy capacity, bringing a full charge to over 7,200W.

Now, if you aren’t going to power a refrigerator with your system, one battery is more than enough for dozens, even hundreds of charges for smaller electronic devices.

Remote Control & App

One of the best features of the Delta Pro is the ability to control and operate the system through a remote control (that comes with the package) or through an app on your phone. Download the EcoFlow app on your smartphone and it will walk you through the process.

Here, you can view the home screen to see how much energy is used, the battery life, charging speed, energy optimization, and more useful insights!
