Tiny Composting Toilet by Separett
The Tiny Urine Diverting Toilet is the newest member of the Separett family of composting toilets. Its compact design, combined with decades of experience, has resulted in a modern urine-separating toilet that is perfect for installations with limited space.
The Separett Tiny offers multiple power options. It can be operated using 110-230V power or 12V solar cell/battery power. With efficiency and effectiveness in mind, the Separett team made sure that its fan consumes very little energy (0.04 kWh/24 hours), making it ideal for battery or solar cell operation.

Unlike traditional composting toilets, the Separett Tiny requires no cranking or additives. Its ADA-compliant 17.5-inch seat height provides the comfort of a household toilet. This makes the Separett Tiny® the perfect solution for vans, tiny houses, RVs, boats, and off-grid properties.

Thanks to the Urine Separation Feature, the smell is significantly reduced and also ensures a better composting process for the solid waste stored in the solids container.

The Separett Tiny Urine Diverting Toilet has two options available, one with the Urine Tube and one that comes with a Urine Container. In order to meet the toilet needs of different lifestyles, Separett offers the Urine Tube for more stationary setups. The Urine Tube is designed to redirect the urine outside or to a container. And we have the Urine Container, more suitable for Mobile Installations.

Can I Extend the Ventilation Pipe of the Separett Tiny?
Yes, you can. Tiny models can be installed with up to 16 ft ventilation piping and a two 90-degree bends.
Is a Fresh Air Valve Necessary with the Separett Tiny?
No, it is not necessary. Separett Tiny Toilets performs well even with just the existing airflow coming from your windows, doors, etc. It is important that there are no other fans installed inside your toilet room. Adding an extra fan may cause a vacuum effect.
Can Ventilation Pipes Be Directed to a Chimney Stack?
Only if the chimney stack is no longer in use and if a plastic liner is installed within the chimney stack. We advise against directing the airflow freely into the chimney stack, as moisture from the bathroom can damage the mortar joints.
Does the Ventilation Pipe Need Insulation?
No, the ventilation pipes do not need insulation. The Separett Tiny features a condensation water collector in the stem of the ventilation pipe exhaust. This collector directs the condensation water to the urine outlet.
Do you need a Trap for the Separett Tiny's Urine Outlet?
You do not in most cases. You will only need one if odors from the wastewater system are seeping into the toilet room or the area where the air is ventilated.
Can I use Separett Tiny without the fan?
We highly recommend using your Separett Tiny Toilet with the fan. Without the fan, proper airflow is not achieved and unpleasant odors may occur.
Can I use bulking material with Separett Tiny?
It is not advised. All Separett Composting Toilets are designed to stay odorless without the need for any bulking material. Adding bulking materials will only cause the container to fill up faster and may also cause the fan to break down because of the dust from the materials.
How do I clean my Separett Tiny?
When cleaning your Sepratett Tiny always use non-corrosive cleaning substances to prevent damage to your toilet. When Cleaning tougher stains with stronger substances, always make sure to rice the affected area with a damp clean cloth. The Solids container can be cleaned like any other plastic container. The Urine container can be cleaned by adding clean water then make sure to cover and shake the container then pour the water away.
