Are windows, shingles, and flooring included?
No — windows, shingles, and flooring are sold separately so you can design your build exactly the way you want. This gives you full control over color, style, and finish to match your home and meet your local code requirements.
Do I need a floor, and what are my options?
Yes, a floor is required. You can pour a cement slab or choose the optional FortressFloor™ wooden floor system, which includes 2×4 treated floor joists at 16″ on-center, ¾″ plywood panels, and 4×4 treated runners for a stable, level foundation.
Is assembly included, or is this a DIY kit?
These are DIY kits — assembly is not included. Every component arrives precision pre-cut for accurate, straightforward assembly. You can build it yourself or hire a local contractor. Most builders complete assembly in 2–3 days with two or three people once the floor is set and level.
What tools will I need for assembly?
Recommended tools include a drill, hammer, ladder, saw, tape measure, pencil, level, and appropriate safety gear. The pre-cut kit eliminates most of the complex measuring and cutting work, but having these tools on hand ensures a smooth build.
How long does shipping take?

How is the kit delivered?
Kits arrive curbside via liftgate truck — the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the end of your driveway. You'll need additional help or equipment to move the pallets beyond that point. Plan accordingly before your delivery date.

Permit requirements vary significantly by location. We strongly recommend checking with your local building department and HOA (if applicable) before purchasing. Requirements depend on structure size, intended use, and local zoning rules.
What is the difference between the Standard and Sliding Door models?
The Standard model has a 6′4″ side wall height and uses traditional double barn doors (5′4″ × 5′11″) that can be oriented on the eave or gable side. The Sliding Door model features taller 8′1″ sidewalls and space-saving sliding barn doors (5′5″ × 6′6″) centered on the gable side — ideal when swing clearance is limited or you need extra headroom for equipment and overhead storage.
What makes the Walk-In Door model different?
The Walk-In Door model combines the standard double barn doors (5′4″ × 5′11″) with a separate walk-in entry door, giving you convenient everyday access without having to open the full barn doors each time. The barn doors can be centered or offset on the eave side, or centered on the gable side, with the walk-in door placement adjusting accordingly.
