- This Big Berkey package includes the upper and lower stainless steel chamber, 2 Black Berkey® Purification Elements (expandable up to 4), 1 Stainless Steel Lid, 1 Stainless Steel Spigot, 1 Spare BPA-free Plastic Spigot, 2 Wingnuts, 2 Washers, 1 Priming Button, 2 Blocking Plugs, 1 Rubber Gasket to protect the base.
- The versatile Big Berkey® System is ideal for small to medium families, and for use during travel, outdoor activities, or unexpected emergencies
- Constructed of highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel
- The storage capacity of about 2.25 gallons (8.5 liters)
- Upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 13" in height
- Maximum Filters: 4 Black Berkey® Purification Elements (in upper chamber)
- Maximum Filtration Flow Rate: Configured with two Black Berkey® Purification Elements, the Big Berkey® System can produce up to 3.5 gallons (13.3 liters) per hour. Configured with four Black Berkey® Purification Elements, the Big Berkey® System can produce up to 7.0 gallons (26.5 liters) per hour
- Up to 4 Berkey PF-2™, Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters may be installed in the lower chamber of this system if desired
- Flow rate calculated with the upper chamber full to top. Flow rate decreases as water level declines
STAINLESS STEEL SPIGOT:
- A heavy-duty, stainless steel spigot that fits all Berkey® 304 stainless steel units. It also includes two food-grade silicone washers, stainless steel washers, and a wingnut.

Berkey Water Filter Extended Lifetime Warranty
Wild Oak Trail offers an exclusive Lifetime warranty for your Big Berkey Water Filter.
This covers your stainless steel chamber and lid, washers, nuts and spigot. This provides coverage over and above the general manufacturers warranty. For the first 6 months to 2 years depending on which product you purchase, the warranty will be handled via NMCL (makers of the Berkey). Once your initial warranty with Berkey ends, your Berkey container and parts excluding filters will be handled via Wild Oak Trail. This warranty is provided free of charge with your system purchase through www.WildOakTrail.com. Proof of purchase through Wild Oak Trail is required.
This guarantee will be void in circumstances of misuse. It doesn’t cover items that have been damaged due to user abuse, mistreatment, salt water or air, lack of maintenance, lack of routine cleanings, or accidents (dropping etc.).
The customer will be responsible for processing charges and shipping.
The Berkey Earth Ceramic Filters and Black Berkey purification elements have a two year pro-rated manufacturer’s warranty which is calculated in six month intervals. The filters and purification elements are not covered under lifetime warranty. For example, if you have used the filters for 8 months, 75% of the guarantee still applies so you can get a full replacement set for 25% off of the normal cost.
