Setting up your Riverstone Industries Greenhouse is an exciting project, and we’ll make sure it goes smoothly. Whether you’ve chosen the MONT Mojave or the MONT Growers Edition, both models share the same strong aluminum frame and high-quality polycarbonate panels. We’ll walk you through each part of the process, from the foundation to the finishing touches, so you can build your greenhouse with confidence.
Follow this guide and we’ll help you assemble your greenhouse efficiently and safely.

Step 1: Unpack and organize all parts before assembly.
Step 2: Build and square the base frame on a flat, level surface.
Step 3: Assemble wall frames and insert all side panels.
Step 4: Add the roof frame, rafters, and polycarbonate roof panels.
Step 5: Install doors, vents, and the Mojave fan if included.
Step 6: Seal all joints, apply weather stripping, and finish with the shade cloth if available.
A successful build starts well before you pick up a drill. Here’s what we recommend doing several days before you begin assembling your greenhouse:
Pick a sunny, open area that receives at least six hours of direct sunlight daily. Avoid spots with overhead trees or uneven ground. The site should have good drainage and easy access for watering and maintenance.
Your greenhouse must rest on a flat, solid surface. A concrete pad, paver base, or treated wood platform works best. Make sure it’s completely level in all directions. If it isn’t, use shims or compacted gravel to even it out.
When your shipment arrives, carefully check each box for damage. The MONT kits typically come in multiple cartons that include aluminum framing, polycarbonate panels, and hardware packs.
Lay out all parts on a clean, dry surface. Keep the panels flat and protected from wind. Separate hardware into labeled containers for easy access. Group parts according to section (base, walls, roof, vents, doors).
Read through this entire guide before starting. It helps to understand how each section connects so that assembly feels like one continuous process. Identify which steps need a second person — most notably the wall and roof sections.
Choose a calm, dry day for assembly. High winds or rain can make handling panels difficult and affect accuracy.
Included in your kit:
The base frame sets the foundation for the entire greenhouse, so take your time here. A level, anchored base ensures every other part of the structure fits correctly and prevents shifting in high winds.

Next, we’ll build the wall frames that attach to the base.
For the Growers Edition, you’ll notice that the walls are taller than the standard MONT models. These connect in the same way, just with additional bracing at the midpoint.

The front wall includes the door frame. Keep the bolts slightly loose until the roof structure is complete. This gives us flexibility when connecting the ridge and rafters later.
The roof assembly is one of the most important parts of the build.
For Mojave models, the reflective roof panels install exactly the same way. Their coating helps reduce interior heat during hot months.

Now we’ll move on to the doors.

Ventilation is essential for regulating greenhouse temperature.
If you have a Mojave model, we’ll now install the fan and shade cloth.

We’re almost done. Once finished, step back and admire your new greenhouse. It’s now ready for planting and year-round growing.

We recommend setting aside 8 to 12 hours with two people.
We don’t recommend it. A level concrete or wood base is best.
Yes, both models include automatic vent openers.
The fan plugs into a standard 110V outlet.
