The Q612C comfortably houses 14β16 standard-sized chickens. The 6β² Γ 6β² enclosed coop provides ample indoor space for roosting and nesting, while the attached 6β² Γ 6β² run gives them room to scratch and move around during the day. For larger flocks, we carry larger models in the Combination series.
Both models are identical in size, capacity, and structural features β the only difference is the exterior siding. LP Siding is an engineered wood product treated to resist termites, fungal decay, and moisture, giving it a smooth, natural wood-grain appearance. Board & Batten uses classic vertical boards with narrow battens over the seams, offering a more rustic, traditional farmstead look. Both provide excellent weather resistance and durability.
Yes β The Hen House Collection delivers every coop fully assembled. It arrives ready to place on your property. You don't need to spend hours with instructions and tools; just position it, add bedding and feed, and your flock can move in.
Typical lead time is 6β8 weeks from the time your order is placed. Delivery is available across the continental United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Because delivery fees vary by location, we ask that you contact us for a shipping quote before placing your order.
TechShield is a reflective radiant barrier built into the roof sheathing that reflects heat away from the interior. This keeps the coop noticeably cooler during summer months, which is important for your flock's health and egg production. It requires no maintenance and works passively throughout the life of the coop.
Yes. Combination coops can be equipped with wheels for easy repositioning, allowing you to rotate your flock to fresh grazing areas β a great practice for both the health of your hens and the condition of your land. Smaller models can also use skids and an attached chain for relocation. Ask us about mobility options when you call.
The 5/8" LP flooring in every Hen House Collection coop carries a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. LP flooring is an engineered wood product designed to resist moisture, rot, and general wear β making it far more durable than standard plywood in an outdoor coop environment.
Yes. The Q612C is built with reinforced materials and secure latches specifically designed to keep common predators β including foxes, raccoons, and opossums β out of both the coop and the enclosed run. The tight, Amish-quality construction leaves no gaps for small predators to exploit.

All Best Barns shed kits, garages, and barn assemblies are processed and prepared for shipment from our U.S. distribution partners within 5 to 7 business days after your order is confirmed. Best Barns kits are precision-cut, DIY-ready structures designed to be assembled by homeowners using standard tools.
Free curbside delivery is included with your Best Barns purchase in the continental United States. These kits are large and heavy, and so they are delivered via truck with a liftgate service. The delivery driver will place the palletized kit at the end of your driveway or designated curbside location — beyond that point, moving materials onto your property is the responsibility of the customer.
Because of the size and weight of Best Barns structures, deliveries may be scheduled with your carrier in advance. The carrier may call before delivery to confirm timing and discuss access requirements, so please ensure contact information on your order is accurate. We strongly recommend having helpers available at delivery to assist with unloading and placement.
Please prepare a **level, clear delivery area** and check that driveways or entry points are accessible for large trucks. Any site obstacles, low hanging branches, or narrow entrances should be addressed before delivery to avoid delays or additional carrier fees. Once delivered curbside, it is up to you or your helpers to move the shed kit or materials beyond the driveway to your build location.
Since Best Barns kits require assembly, we also recommend confirming local building permit requirements, HOA rules, and foundation preparation before delivery. Permits and site prep (such as gravel pads or level platforms) may be required depending on your location and size of the structure.
If you have questions about delivery timing, truck access, or pre-delivery preparation, please contact our customer support team at customersupport@wildoaktrail.com so we can assist you before your order ships.
The Hen House Collection coops are handcrafted in the USA and shipped across the continental United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Delivery fees vary by location and are calculated based on your address and coop size.
Once your order is confirmed, coops are built and delivered within 6 to 8 weeks via a private carrier. You will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment.
All coops arrive fully assembled, so there isβ―no assembly required upon delivery.
Delivery vehicles typically place your coop in a convenient outdoor location. Customers are responsible for providing a clear, level space accessible to the delivery truck. Please prepare your site ahead of time to avoid delays or extra fees.
Tracking details and estimated delivery windows will be provided once your coop ships. If you have questions prior to placing your order, contact our support team at customersupport@wildoaktrail.com.
The Hen House Collection coops are backed by a manufacturer’s limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and begins on the date of delivery.
The structure of the coop itself is covered under a 1βyear warranty for defects or issues that occur during manufacturing.
Certain components — including LP flooring, siding, and roofing materials — carry an extended limited warranty of up to 10 years as provided by the component manufacturers.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper site preparation, misuse, neglect, weather events, animal damage, normal wear and tear, or modifications not authorized by the manufacturer.
All warranty claims require proof of purchase and, where applicable, photos documenting the issue. To begin a claim or for help with warranty questions, contact us at customersupport@wildoaktrail.com.
Wild Oak Trail is an authorized retailer of The Hen House Collection. Final warranty approval and resolution are made by the manufacturer under their official warranty policy.
