Hand-built by skilled Amish artisans using time-tested techniques and premium materials. Every joint, board, and latch reflects the attention to detail that mass-produced coops simply can't match. Built to last decades, not seasons.

Coop + Run in One Structure

The attached 6β€² Γ— 6β€² enclosed run gives your flock a protected outdoor space to scratch, forage, and get fresh air β€” all while staying safe from predators. No separate run to buy, build, or attach.

Choose Your Siding Style

LP Siding Q612C LP Siding Model

Q612C β€” LP Siding

Engineered wood siding treated for superior resistance to termites and fungal decay. Offers the timeless look of natural wood grain with exceptional weather resistance and long-term durability β€” ideal for all climates.

Board & Batten Q612C BB β€” Board and Batten Model

Q612C BB β€” Board & Batten

Classic vertical boards with narrow battens covering the seams β€” a traditional design that adds rustic charm and timeless appeal. Excellent weather resistance with a distinctive farmstead aesthetic that never goes out of style.

Everything Your Flock Needs

6 Nesting Boxes with External Access

Six cozy nesting areas give your hens the private, comfortable space they need to lay. External lids on each box let you collect eggs without entering the coop β€” quick, clean, and easy every morning.

Pull-Out Cleaning Tray

A removable cleaning tray slides out from the coop floor for fast, mess-free maintenance. Spend less time shoveling and more time with your flock β€” no crawling or awkward angles required.

TechShield Roofing & Natural Ventilation

TechShield reflective roofing sheathing keeps interior temperatures comfortable even on hot summer days. Two 18β€³ Γ— 23β€³ windows provide excellent natural light and cross-ventilation for a healthy, well-aired coop.

Predator-Proof Construction

Reinforced materials, secure latches, and tight construction keep foxes, raccoons, and other predators out. Your flock stays protected around the clock without any additional hardware modifications needed.

Hen House Collection Combination Coop with Run

A Run That Moves With You

The attached enclosed run gives your chickens a safe, dedicated space to forage and scratch without free-ranging. And with optional wheels, you can move the entire coop-and-run setup to fresh grazing areas β€” rotating your flock across your property for healthier land and happier hens.

The 5/8" LP flooring carries a 10-year warranty, and the interior roosting perches give your flock a secure, elevated place to sleep every night β€” exactly the way chickens prefer to rest.

Q612C Chicken Coop FAQs

How many chickens can the Q612C house?

The Q612C comfortably houses 14–16 standard-sized chickens. The 6β€² Γ— 6β€² enclosed coop provides ample indoor space for roosting and nesting, while the attached 6β€² Γ— 6β€² run gives them room to scratch and move around during the day. For larger flocks, we carry larger models in the Combination series.

What is the difference between the LP Siding and Board & Batten models?

Both models are identical in size, capacity, and structural features β€” the only difference is the exterior siding. LP Siding is an engineered wood product treated to resist termites, fungal decay, and moisture, giving it a smooth, natural wood-grain appearance. Board & Batten uses classic vertical boards with narrow battens over the seams, offering a more rustic, traditional farmstead look. Both provide excellent weather resistance and durability.

Does the coop arrive assembled?

Yes β€” The Hen House Collection delivers every coop fully assembled. It arrives ready to place on your property. You don't need to spend hours with instructions and tools; just position it, add bedding and feed, and your flock can move in.

How long does delivery take?

Typical lead time is 6–8 weeks from the time your order is placed. Delivery is available across the continental United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Because delivery fees vary by location, we ask that you contact us for a shipping quote before placing your order.

What is TechShield Roofing Sheathing?

TechShield is a reflective radiant barrier built into the roof sheathing that reflects heat away from the interior. This keeps the coop noticeably cooler during summer months, which is important for your flock's health and egg production. It requires no maintenance and works passively throughout the life of the coop.

Can the coop be moved after delivery?

Yes. Combination coops can be equipped with wheels for easy repositioning, allowing you to rotate your flock to fresh grazing areas β€” a great practice for both the health of your hens and the condition of your land. Smaller models can also use skids and an attached chain for relocation. Ask us about mobility options when you call.

What warranty comes with the flooring?

The 5/8" LP flooring in every Hen House Collection coop carries a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. LP flooring is an engineered wood product designed to resist moisture, rot, and general wear β€” making it far more durable than standard plywood in an outdoor coop environment.

Is this coop predator-proof?

Yes. The Q612C is built with reinforced materials and secure latches specifically designed to keep common predators β€” including foxes, raccoons, and opossums β€” out of both the coop and the enclosed run. The tight, Amish-quality construction leaves no gaps for small predators to exploit.

The Hen House Collection – Frequently Asked Questions

Do the chicken coops come fully assembled?

Yes! All of our coops come fully assembled and ready to use — no extra setup required.

What do I need to do to prepare for the coop’s delivery?

We recommend making sure the area where the coop will go is as level as possible. If you’re purchasing a larger coop, you may want to consider a gravel foundation for added stability and drainage.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. We offer a 1-year manufacturer warranty on the coop structure itself to cover any defects or issues caused during production.

In addition, LP Flooring, Siding, and Roofing come with a 10-year limited warranty for added peace of mind.

What’s the difference between the Litter Tray and the Epoxy Floor?

Litter Tray: A removable tray that sits underneath the roosting bar to collect waste. It easily slides out, making cleanup quick and simple.

Epoxy Floor: A permanent upgrade that provides a sealed surface. It can be washed down and wiped clean with ease.

Both options are available as extras and can be priced in your custom quote.

Where can I buy chicken coops near me?

We ship across the lower 48 states. Call us for a quote — we’ll help you choose the right coop for your location, and it will be shipped directly to you.

What’s the difference between Board and Batten and DuraTemp siding?

Board and Batten: A stained finish with a natural, rustic appearance. It does require some upkeep, like re-staining every few years.

DuraTemp: A painted finish with a clean, traditional look. It typically only needs repainting every 7–8 years.

Why Buy From Wild Oak Trail?

We’re a family-run business. My Wife Hailey and I run this business with our small staff of 3 awesome people. When you shop with Wild Oak Trail, you're supporting real people, not a big corporation.

We truly care. We’re here before, during, and after your purchase. Good products and great service—that’s how we earn your trust. We see and celebrate EVERY sale that comes in!

We choose quality. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we won’t offer it. Our goal is to make you happy enough to tell your friends.

Thanks for supporting our family and being part of the Wild Oak Trail community!

Shipping and Delivery

All Best Barns shed kits, garages, and barn assemblies are processed and prepared for shipment from our U.S. distribution partners within 5 to 7 business days after your order is confirmed. Best Barns kits are precision-cut, DIY-ready structures designed to be assembled by homeowners using standard tools.

Free curbside delivery is included with your Best Barns purchase in the continental United States. These kits are large and heavy, and so they are delivered via truck with a liftgate service. The delivery driver will place the palletized kit at the end of your driveway or designated curbside location — beyond that point, moving materials onto your property is the responsibility of the customer.

Because of the size and weight of Best Barns structures, deliveries may be scheduled with your carrier in advance. The carrier may call before delivery to confirm timing and discuss access requirements, so please ensure contact information on your order is accurate. We strongly recommend having helpers available at delivery to assist with unloading and placement.

Please prepare a **level, clear delivery area** and check that driveways or entry points are accessible for large trucks. Any site obstacles, low hanging branches, or narrow entrances should be addressed before delivery to avoid delays or additional carrier fees. Once delivered curbside, it is up to you or your helpers to move the shed kit or materials beyond the driveway to your build location.

Since Best Barns kits require assembly, we also recommend confirming local building permit requirements, HOA rules, and foundation preparation before delivery. Permits and site prep (such as gravel pads or level platforms) may be required depending on your location and size of the structure.

If you have questions about delivery timing, truck access, or pre-delivery preparation, please contact our customer support team at customersupport@wildoaktrail.com so we can assist you before your order ships.

Shipping and Delivery

The Hen House Collection coops are handcrafted in the USA and shipped across the continental United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Delivery fees vary by location and are calculated based on your address and coop size.

Once your order is confirmed, coops are built and delivered within 6 to 8 weeks via a private carrier. You will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment.

All coops arrive fully assembled, so there isβ€―no assembly required upon delivery.

Delivery vehicles typically place your coop in a convenient outdoor location. Customers are responsible for providing a clear, level space accessible to the delivery truck. Please prepare your site ahead of time to avoid delays or extra fees.

Tracking details and estimated delivery windows will be provided once your coop ships. If you have questions prior to placing your order, contact our support team at customersupport@wildoaktrail.com.

Warranty

The Hen House Collection coops are backed by a manufacturer’s limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and begins on the date of delivery.

The structure of the coop itself is covered under a 1‑year warranty for defects or issues that occur during manufacturing.

Certain components — including LP flooring, siding, and roofing materials — carry an extended limited warranty of up to 10 years as provided by the component manufacturers.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper site preparation, misuse, neglect, weather events, animal damage, normal wear and tear, or modifications not authorized by the manufacturer.

All warranty claims require proof of purchase and, where applicable, photos documenting the issue. To begin a claim or for help with warranty questions, contact us at customersupport@wildoaktrail.com.

Wild Oak Trail is an authorized retailer of The Hen House Collection. Final warranty approval and resolution are made by the manufacturer under their official warranty policy.
