Flexible Barn Door Placement
Barn doors (5′4″ × 5′11″) can be oriented multiple ways depending on your size. The 10×12 offers offset-left, offset-right on the eave side, or centered on the gable. The 10×16 centers on either the eave or gable side — you choose what works for your space.
Two Sizes — Same Great Build
Choose the 10×12 for a compact, efficient footprint or the 10×16 for extra depth and storage capacity. Both share the same 6′4″ side wall height, 3/12 gable roof, and premium material spec throughout.

Are windows, shingles, and flooring included?
No — windows, shingles, and flooring are sold separately so you can design your shed exactly the way you want. This gives you full control over color, style, and finish to match your home and meet any local code requirements.
What sizes are available?
The Handmade Haven is available in 10′×12′ and 10′×16′. Both sizes share the same 6′4″ side wall height, 3/12 gable roof pitch, and premium material specification. The 10×16 gives you additional depth for larger storage needs or workshop use.
How flexible is the door placement?
Quite flexible. On the 10×12, barn doors can be offset-left or offset-right on the eave side, or centered on the gable side. On the 10×16, barn doors can be centered on either the eave side or the gable side. Both videos above show what each orientation looks like in practice.
Do I need a floor, and what are my options?
Yes, a floor is required. You can pour a cement slab or choose the optional FortressFloor™ wooden floor system, which includes 2×4 treated joists at 16″ on-center, ¾″ plywood panels, and 4×4 treated runners — a commercial-grade option built to support heavy tools and equipment.
Is assembly included, or is this a DIY kit?
These are DIY kits — assembly is not included. Every component arrives precision pre-cut for accurate, straightforward assembly. You can build it yourself or hire a local contractor. Most builders complete assembly in 2–3 days with two or three people once the floor is set and level.
What tools will I need for assembly?
Recommended tools include a drill, hammer, ladder, saw, tape measure, pencil, level, and appropriate safety gear. The pre-cut kit eliminates most of the complex measuring and cutting work, but having these tools on hand ensures a smooth build.
How long does shipping take?

How is the kit delivered?
