When connecting your lithium battery for charging or discharging, always tighten the connector bolts with a wrench, not by hand. A loose connection can cause the terminals to overheat and damage the battery internally. Follow these safety guidelines to ensure the longevity and safety of your battery:

  • Never cross-circuit the battery.
  • Never immerse the battery in water.
  • Never charge the battery with currents higher than the recommended charge current.
  • Never discharge the battery with currents higher than the recommended max discharge current.
  • Never dispose of the battery in fire, as it may cause explosions.
  • Never charge the battery with alternators or other devices that charge above 14.6V.
