No. You must match the capacity. An 18k wall mount air handler requires an 18k condenser. Mismatching sizes will cause system failure and poor performance.
Does this unit plug into a standard outlet?
No. This is a 230V unit that is hardwired. It receives power and communication signals directly from the outdoor condenser unit.
Is the refrigerant included in this unit?
No. Indoor air handlers are pressurized with nitrogen for testing but do not contain refrigerant. The refrigerant is stored in the outdoor condenser.
Does this fit on the same bracket as the 12k model?
Likely not. The 18k unit is significantly wider (approx. 38 inches) and heavier than the 12k model. You will likely need to adjust your wall bracket spacing.
