Is this freezer DC-only, or does it also run on AC power?
This model is DC-only. It runs directly off 12V or 24V DC solar systems without requiring an inverter. If you need a model that can also run on standard 115V AC grid power or solar AC, please see the SunStar Solar 15CU ST-15CF which is available in both AC and DC configurations.
How much capacity does the 8CU chest freezer have?

Service & Resolutions If a manufacturing defect is discovered within the warranty period, SunStar® reserves the right to repair or replace the defective unit or component at their discretion. Any repairs or replacements will be completed using new or refurbished parts that meet or exceed the original factory quality standards.
